Patient Transfer or Referral
KPH Outpatients’ Department runs surgical, Internal medicine, specialties clinics and Children’s specialties, this excludes nurse, technician and Allied Health Professional clinics.
The Department holds consultations of adult patients and children every year. Clinics are scheduled to run from 8.00am to 5pm, Monday to Friday weekly, with morning & afternoon sessions.
The Hospital only accepts HC referrals, by hand to our Out Patients Department.
Accessing our outpatient department
To obtain an appointment within the KPH Outpatient Service, a patient must first have a transfer from one of the following hospital catchment area health centers.
If transfer is urgent priority:
The Health center send the Patient our emergency department or call for ambulance support.
If patient have repeatable follow up visit:
Patient use the first brought transfer for every visit an this transfer valid for one year where patient is supposed to return to the nearest health center for other transfer request.
Billing & Insurance
The hospital accepts recognized health insurance schemes and approved payment methods.

- RSSB
- Other approved insurers
Patients are advised to verify coverage details before receiving services. when patient found that they are not eligible with their insurance usage, should automatically pay the total billed amount as uninsured /private.
